The Supercharge Check

Answer yes or no for how your client conversations usually go today, not how you would like them to go.

A. Conversation capture

What do you leave a meeting or call with?

1. After a client meeting or call, I leave with notes I can still read later (handwritten, typed, or recorded).
2. I have a way to capture conversations word-for-word when I need to (hardware recorder, note-taker app, or phone Voice Memos / Transcript Assist).
3. I can find what we agreed in a past meeting without relying only on memory.

What happens before you hit record?

4. Before I record a client conversation, I ask for their consent first.
5. I know whether my note-taker keeps audio, only a transcript, or both.
6. I know what my brokerage or provincial privacy rules say about recording client conversations (or I know there is none yet).

C. Follow-up speed

How fast does the client hear from you after you hang up?

7. After a client meeting, I usually send a follow-up the same day.
8. My follow-ups include a short recap of what we discussed and the next steps.
9. When I promise something in a meeting (“I’ll send the comps”), I track it somewhere other than my memory.

D. Commitments tracked

Do promises end up as checked next actions?

10. I can list my open commitments to clients right now without digging through old emails.
11. I separate what I owe the client from what they said they would do.
12. Agreed follow-up dates land on my calendar (or a dated list), not only in my head.

E. CRM and AI readiness

Where do notes go, and who signs off on drafts?

13. Meeting notes or summaries end up in my CRM or client file.
14. I would read and approve every AI-drafted client email before it is sent.
15. I already use (or am ready to try) a saved prompt or template that turns a transcript into a summary, action list, and email draft.
